KICPC resolves overseas documents problem online for overseas residents

Corona19 confirmed patients worldwide surpassed 1.8 million, while the death exceeded 110,000. The number of infected people is increasing in most European countries, including the United States, the world's largest outbreak, but recently, the spread of corona19 has increased again, mainly in major countries in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The situation has become more serious abroad than in Korea, and the first death of overseas resident in Spain on the 13th April, resulted in anxiety and fear among overseas citizens, international students, and expatriates. Therefore, the Korean government provides support for returning to more than 6,000 people through foreign airlines or chartered aircraft, except in cases where individual immigrants are currently entering through continuous consultation with the authorities of the host country for overseas Koreans who are experiencing discomfort and isolating in the country where they stay.

An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "We will provide support in various ways through research on the demand of overseas citizens who wish to return to Korea, and we expect that more people will continue to return to Korea.” Overseas residents, international students, and foreign correspondent who return to Korea have difficulties in self-isolation for 2 weeks following the strengthened immigration procedures from 1st April, but it is also expected that processing the civil affairs necessary for staying in Korea will be very difficult.

In particular, because numerous overseas civil affairs, ranging from a visa (F4) for long-term stay and a foreign criminal history certificate required to apply for a residence permit, a local driver's license for driving domestically, to graduation certificate or transcript for extension of work and employment, need complicated and demanding procedures such as notarization and local Apostille and embassy certification.

Mr.Baek, who is currently preparing for employment in Korea, said, "I thought I only needed a graduation certificate and a transcript, but the company requested me to submit a British criminal record certificate as well. So I am really embarrassed. Because it can only be issued in UK. I’m worried about how to get it in Korea." The same goes for Mr. Cho, who returned Korea from the United States. "In order to drive in Korea immediately, I must obtain an apostille on my US driver's license and submit it to Korea. However, Apostille only be issued in the local country. It is frustrating to be unable to come and go United States and Korea freely.”

KICPC provides fast and safe, non-face-to-face one-stop document agent services for oveseas residents having a lot of trouble in documents processing even after returning to Korea due to the situation of Corona 19. People don't have to go to the local area directly, since they can apply easily with just a few clicks via the Internet and mobile (app of KICPC) without having to go to the relevant government office. In addition, the documents are processed from the issuance to translation, notarization, Apostille, and embassy authentication at once, and also KICPC provides services that can be delivered to customers' desired locations and received by e-mail.

It is possible to quickly and safely process numerous documents from all over the world that need to be submitted to Korea, as well as from overseas to overseas, and abroad, as multiple services are also available to overseas residents who have not entered Korea due to the corona 19.
