Bioplate is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Accounting Associate interested in becoming part of our growing accounting team. As a member of the Accounting & Finance team, the candidate will focus on monthly, quarterly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting. The position will provide financial guidance and business partnership to the Centers of Expertise (COEs) leadership teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Assist in month-end accounting activities including investigating variances.
• Identifies and resolves issues and provide alternative solutions to minimize risks on planning processes.
• Provides management decision support through ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Assist in preparing daily deposits for checks received and deposit checks via check scanner.
• Sends out monthly statements to customers.
• Assist in managing timely and quality delivery of multiple tasks, including audits, projects, special assignments, and administrative activities.
• Self-prioritizes and independently completes multiple tasks across the team and department. Demonstrates the ability to successfully meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• 
  
• in pursuit of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a relevant certification preferred
• 1+ year of experience in medical device or in the manufacturing industry preferred
• 1+ year of experience performing data analysis in support of external/internal audit
• JD EDWARDS EnterpriseOne system experience preferred
