EGO란 뭐냐?

심리학의 창시자인 Freud슨상은 인간의 심리작용을 3가지 각도에서 보았읍네다. 그 첫째가 Id라는 것, 두째가 EGO이고 세째가 Super-EGO라고 했지요.

Id라 하는 것은 태어나면서 받은 본능적이랄까 동물적 근성을 말합니다. '위키페디아'에서는 이래 정의하고 있오.

Id is the only component of personality that is present from birth. It is the source of our bodily needs, wants, desires, and impulses, particularly our sexual and aggressive drives.

하매, EGO는 뭐냐?

At the same time, Freud concedes that as the ego "attempts to mediate between id and reality, it is often obliged to cloak the [unconscious] commands of the id with its own rationalizations, to conceal the id's conflicts with reality. 한마디로 현실과 타협하는 노력이라 할까.

마지막으로 Super-Ego란 reflects the internalization of cultural rules, mainly taught by parents applying their guidance and influence. 부모나 사회에서 요구한 지침에 따라 행동을 자제하는 것을 말합니다. Carl Jung이란 또 다른 사회심리학자는 Archetypes, 즉 사회적 양심 혹은 집단의 잠재의식이라고. 이것에 구성원들의 행동을 스스로 구속받는다고 할까, 하는 그런거.
