If you want know how many years will take your money doubled in account? You divide the 72 by % account interest they pay. For example: 4% =18years to double 6%=12 years to double 12% =6years to double, If you put the money in 4% account 10k when you are 30 yrs, you will have 3x double when you are66 yrs and 80k in the account: If you put in 12% int account, your money double every 6 years and when you are 66 years old, you will have 640k. 80k and 640k , that is big difference. There is no guarantee of this number. To get an education is expense, but ignorance can be cost your fortune! I just learned not too long ago.
