As y’all may know there have been active Interactions between UAE and Korea. Think of ‘Burj Khalifa’!
Because of the interactions there are many expatriates living in UAE but due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 many immigrants including expatriates and international students in UAE not only from Korea but also other countries get into the situation, returning to their home country, forgetting to prepare some essential document like PCC, Police Clearance Certificate.

  Unfortunately forgetting PCC is critical since this is one of the necessaries when in issuing, reissuing or renewing UAE VISA. Then what is PCC? PCC, also known as ‘Good Conduct Certificate’, is an abbreviation of Police Clearance Certificate that proves the person is not accused of and does not have any criminal precedents. 

You can get PCC easily both offline and online. In either way you have to prepare things as follows, no matter where you are currently in

 (1) a valid emirates ID card
 (2) a letter from the beneficiary stating that he/she does not have any pending criminal convictions
 (3) a recent passport-size photograph
 (4) a copy of the applicant’s passport.

  However, for the people outside of the UAE things get complicated in the reason that they need to get their fingerprints attested by the UAE Embassy there and send request for PCC online to MOI (Ministry Of Interior-UAE) or to Dubai police. What’s more the document can only be issued in Arabic and English. Thus when you want to use this PCC from UAE in somewhere else in UAE and non-English-speaking pupils you need to get it translated, notarized, embassy-certified and Consulate-certified. The opposite is the same. When you need to submit PCC, criminal record checks, from other countries whose language is neither Arabic or English, you need to get your document translated, notarized, embassy-certified and Consulate-certified to authenticate and legalize the document.

This whole process is as all the public stuff are complicated and time-consuming.
Furthermore, because of pervasive COVID-19 it is still careful to go out.
