JNK Accountancy Group is currently seeking a Staff Accountant in Audit and Accounting team. The Staff Accountant will perform attestation and other special project procedures, and communicate to firm associates and clients in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Job descriptions:

• Assists/performs attestation and other special project procedures obtaining, analyzing and evaluating evidentiary data. (Audit, Review, Compilation, and Agreed Upon Procedures)
• Prepares working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned engagement.
• Reports audit findings and makes recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvements in operations and reductions in cost.
• Assists in drafting financial statements and other various reports
• Performs other duties as assigned at the request of management
• Travel: Less than 20%

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• 1 year accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment
• Bilingual (English/Korean)
• Legally able to work in U.S.
