JNK Accountancy Group is currently seeking a Payroll Accountant for the payroll department. This position is non-accounting related and we will only accept applicants who want to build their career in the payroll related field. The Payroll Accountant will perform full scale payroll related assignments.

[Main job tasks and responsibilities]

- Accurate and compliant processing of payroll (multi-states)
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns (multi-states)
- Analyze payroll issues and provide appropriate action plans
- Various government notices follow up & resolution
- Assist in workers’ compensation audit and prepare related documents
- Direct and effective communications with clients
- Filing and organizing source documents and final products
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel: Less than 5%

[Qualification]

- No prior experience is needed (1~2 years of payroll experience is preferred)
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines for multiple projects
- Must be a fast learner and detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (word and excel)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid interpersonal/communication skills
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work over-time during busy season and as needed
- Bi-lingual preferred, English and Korean
