Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Center IPA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform internal and external duties to ensure high quality and efficient day-to-day operations. The Nurse Practitioner will in locations office, clinic, and assisted living facility to perform the job duties listed below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Be under the supervision of physician
• See patients in an office/clinic setting
• Mostly see Medicare HMO patients
• Perform rounding duties in an assisted living facility
• Review medical records to make sure it meets requirements
• Review referral requests for approval or denial
• Use electronic medical records

Requirements and Qualifications

• Mandatory computer literacy, typing and be able to easily use electronic medical record
• Nurse Practitioner license in California
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
