The Provider Relations Representative will serve asa Liaisonbetween health plan, providers, members and IPA.
RESPONSIBILITES-DUTIES
· Responsiblefor providing the initial orientation of newly contracted providers in theSeattle Area.
· Responsiblefor ongoing provider staff education and service visits
· Cereconsset-up and training
· Deliveryof CAPE forms, if necessary
· Maintainregular contact and site follow up with key providers
· Serveas a liaison to internally resolve complex issues
· Educateproviders on new protocols, policies and procedures
· Participate in and prepare for marketing events conducted byoutside organizations and/or events organized by the IPA
· Supports the IPA operations in proactive development ofeffective and collaborative relationships with all primary care and specialtycare providers to successfully service and retain business
· Responsible for organizing provider office orientation meetings
· Assists inestablishing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives forproducts and services.
· Develops andexecutes marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue,profitability, and market share.
· Communicates withoutside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
· Plans andoversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media,trade show, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.
· Analyzesmarketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
· Plans andconducts market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
· Maintainscustomer database
· Providespost-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
· Plans, promotes,and executes sales meetings and community and goodwill events.
· Performs other duties as required
EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Fluency in Korean is aMUST
· Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle.
· Demonstrateexcellent business development skills
· Knowledgeof Medicare managed care and/or Medi-Cal regulations, policies and procedures
· Demonstratestechnical and operational knowledge and expertise
· Cultivatespositive professional and interpersonal relationships with health plans,providers and IPA
· PreferredMinimum 2 years’ experience in the health care industry with a solid customerservice problem-solving background
· Excellentverbal and written communication skills
· Team-buildingand presentation skills
· Effectiveorganizational skills
· Balances responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness toothers' views; Gives and welcomes feedback
