Bion, the mathematician, the mystic, the psychoanalyst.

Something else happens within the above analytic scenario of sense, myth, and passion: In the very act of the patients "re-becoming" his own hitherto unaccepted emotion, he is re-becoming himself—and something else. His very acceptance of the hitherto barred emotion suddenly opens the door of his unrepressed unconscious, and the whole panoply of the Ideal Forms (inherent and acquired pre-conceptions, "memoirs of the future") and the noumena or things-in-themselves springs forth to join up selectively and appropriately with the newly reaccepted emotion, which was, in retrospect, the key to the unlocking of the former.
