  To validate the document, you need to check whether both the country from which you issue the document and to which you are to submit belong to the Hague treaty. It’s because among the member of that treaty validating process is simplified, which is called ‘apostille’. Given that both Korea and South Africa agree with the treaty, what you have to do to authenticate is apostille, getting a apostille stamp on the South African document!

  It’s easy, right? But things are different if you leave South Africa before you get apostille because apostille is only available where the document is originally issued. Then you may wonder how to get apostille in that case! Well..the answer is quite simple. You should get it thru someone else because you can’t do it.
